How to Stream Disney+

Samsung

1. Make sure that your Samsung Smart TV is connected to the internet
2. Click the Smart Hub button on your remote (the button with the icon of a house). This will allow you to access a whole list of entertainment apps, Disney+ being one of them
3. OR if Disney+ is not already on your TV
1. Make sure that your TV is connected to the internet
2. Select ‘Apps’ from the Smart TV home screen
3. Type in Disney+ in the search bar and select the app
4. Install the app
5. Log in with your Disney+ credentials or sign up for a new Disney+ account
6. Select any movie you want to watch and start streaming!

LG

1. Ensure that your TV is connected to the internet
2. The app should automatically appear on the TV banner at the bottom of the screen
3. OR if it doesn’t appear automatically
1. Ensure that your TV is connected to the internet
2. Access the app via the LG Content Store
3. Browse to the Search Box on the LG Content Store to find a new app
4. Type in Disney+
5. Scroll to the apps category
6. Select Disney+
7. Select Install
8. Select Launch
9. Log in with your Disney+ credentials or sign up for a new Disney+ account
10. Select any movie you want to watch and start streaming!

Sony Bravia

1. Make sure that your Sony Bravia TV is connected to the internet
2. Select Home to bring up the Android TV Menu
3. Navigate down to the Disney+ app in the Sony Select row and click enter
4. Sign in using a gmail account to access the play store. If you are already signed in, skip this step
5. Click Install on the Disney+ app
6. Once installed, click to open
7. Log in with your Disney+ credentials or sign up for a new Disney+ account
8. Select any movie you want to watch and start streaming!

Hisense, TCL, Philips, Hitachi

*Provided the TV has a HDMI port

Apple TV

1. Download the Disney+ app on your iOS device
2. Make sure that your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch is connected to the same wifi network as your Apple TV
3. Open the Disney movie or show you would like to watch on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch
4. Tap the AirPlay icon near the top corner of your screen
5. Select your Apple TV from the list of available AirPlay devices

If you have a 4th or 5th generation Apple TV, you can download and install the Disney+ app to the device (if not already downloaded), log in to your account and watch content without needing to use your iOS device.

Chromecast

Casting from your smartphone, tablet or laptop

1. Download the Disney+ app on a compatible device (smartphone, tablet, laptop etc)
2. Make sure the device and TV are connected to the same wifi network
3. Open the Disney+ app from your smart device and select the content you wish to cast
4. Once the video is playing, there is a casting icon on the top corner of your screen, tap this and a dropdown selection should pop up
5. Select your TV from the list of available devices

Pairing a Device to Chromecast

If you do not have a Smart TV/ if casting is not built in to your TV

1. Make sure your device is connected to the same wifi network that you want Chromecast to use
2. Plug the Chromecast into your TV
3. Download Google Home from the App Store for iPhone/iPad or from the Google Play Store for Android devices
4. Select Set Up and follow the prompts
5. Once Setup:
6. Once set up, open Disney+ on your phone, tablet, laptop etc
7. Tap the cast icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen
8. Select the Chromecast you’d like to cast to
9. Select any movie you want to watch and start streaming!

Gaming Consoles

Disney+ is available on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One

1. Turn on your console and navigate to the corresponding store from the console’s home screen (PlayStation store for PlayStation 4 or Microsoft store for Xbox One)
2. Select the Apps tab, highlight the Search option and type in Disney+
3. Download/ Install the Disney+ app
4. Once installed, log in with your Disney+ credentials or sign up for a new Disney+ account
5. Select any movie you want to watch and start streaming!
