The Good Guys gift cards are the perfect gift for any occasion. You can buy Gift Cards in store or purchase eGift Cards online - powered by True Rewards, for any value between $20 and $500. The Good Guys gift cards make choosing gifts for weddings, housewarmings, farewells, clients, staff and birthdays a piece of cake. StoreCash> cannot be earned or redeemed on this product.
Simply sign in using your existing account at The Good Guys or create a new account by entering in your details and creating a password.
Choose an eGift card amount from $20-$500. Add your recipients details, and your personalised message, or select from some of ours. Select when and how you’d like your eGift card sent (please note SMS incurs a $0.50 fee).
Save your credit card details (first time only). For your security, an initial $1 charge is processed to your account with a unique code straight away. Enter the code found on your credit card statement to validate your credit card and proceed to final payment (reduced by $1).
Your recipient will receive their eGift Card via SMS or email in minutes, or on the date you select. The eGift card can be used as it arrives, printed, or added to a mobile digital wallet. You’ll be emailed your Tax Invoice from True Rewards.
The Good Guys Gift Cards can be purchased at a range of values between $20 and $500. Online eGift cards are available in $20, $30, $40, $50, $75, $100, $150, $200, $250, $300, $400 and $500 amounts. In store you can load any amount onto a Gift Card.
eGift Cards are sent via email or SMS (additional fee of $0.50 applies for SMS). The eGift Card can be redeemed as it arrives, can be printed, or from a mobile you can also add the eGift Card to your digital Wallet (Apple Pay and Google Pay compatible).
Yes. The Good Guys eGift Cards can be delivered directly to anyone nominated by you. All you need to do is provide their name, and email or mobile number. Please note additional fee of $0.50 applies for SMS delivery.
If you do not select a future date, your The Good Guys eGift Card should be delivered via email or SMS to the recipient within minutes of completing your transaction. For gift giving convenience, you also have the option to select future dates for sending your eGift Cards.
To ensure your eGift Card transactions are as secure as possible. We ask customers to validate that they have access to the credit card account provided, by re-entering a code provided in an initial $1 transaction. We’ll only ever ask you to do this once, which means if you want to purchase further eGift Cards with that credit card it’s very simple and fast to do.

Yes. You can write a message to the recipient to personalise your gift, or if you need inspiration you can also select from some pre-written messages.
True Rewards is a business engaged by The Good Guys to help provide you with the most seamless experience for purchasing and sending The Good Guys eGift Cards. On our behalf, True Rewards take your eGift Card payment, electronically distributes your eGift Card(s) and provides you with your Tax Invoice.
We accept MasterCard or Visa Credit Cards for online purchases. If you require an alternative payment method this may be accommodated for you in store.
Physical Gift Cards can be purchased in store only. Only eGift Cards (electronically sent) are available for purchase online.
Yes, the website will allow up to 2 eGift cards or gift cards to be redeemed per order. More than 2 eGift cards or Gift Cards can be used in-store.

No. Refunds will be paid back to the original payment method used.
For online purchases, the balance of any The Good Guys eGift Card or Gift Card can be obtained by selecting Gift Card option within the cart, entering the eGift card or Gift Card number and clicking on “check balance”. If your Gift Card or eGift card was purchased on or after 23rd October 2018 (illustrated by the ‘Powered by Vii’ logo), then the balance of your card can also be obtained at: thegoodguysgiftcards.viisolutions.com.au. If your eGift card or Gift Card was purchased prior to 23rd October 2018 please contact the number printed on the reverse of your card. Your balance can also be obtained in-store.
All Gift Cards issued by The Good Guys do not expire.
You can purchase as many gift cards as you like in one order.
1. In these Terms & Conditions “Gift Card” refers to The Good Guys branded gift cards which can be only be used at The Good Guys.
2. Gift Cards entitle the holder to goods/services equal to the value stated on the Gift Card or remaining after partial redemption.
3. Gift Cards can only be redeemed to pay for purchases made at any The Good Guys Store, the online retail store: www.thegoodguys.com.au and The Good Guys phone sales line (1300 942 765).
4. Gift Cards are not redeemable for goods purchased from The Good Guys eBay store.
5. Gift Cards are not redeemable for goods purchased from The Good Guys Commercial (including goods purchased from The Good Guys Commercial websites).
6. Gift Cards cannot be used for payment of credit or in-store customer accounts.
7. Gift Cards may not be exchanged (wholly or partly) for cash.
8. The value shown on the Gift Card includes GST.
9. Gift Cards are partially redeemable and any unused balance will remain on the Gift Card and cannot be redeemed for cash.
10. If the card holder's order exceeds the amount of the Gift Card, the Gift Card holder will be required to pay for the difference in price between the value of the Gift Card and the retail price of the goods or services.
11. All Gift Cards do not expire. Gift Cards can be redeemed at any time, even if a Gift Card specifies an expiry date.
12. Third party gift cards sold at The Good Guys or at third party locations where The Good Guys is one of several participating retailers on the gift card (Third Party The Good Guys Gift Cards), such as Ultimate Gift Cards (e.g. Ultimate Gift Card for Home) and The Card Network Gift Cards (e.g. The Home Gift Card), will be subject to any expiry date stated on those cards.
13. Should The Good Guys (acting reasonably and in good faith) suspect any fraud relating to a Gift Card, The Good Guys may refuse to redeem the Gift Card or cancel the redemption of the Gift Card prior to the relevant goods/services paid for using the Gift Card being provided to the holder.
14. The Good Guys is not liable for any lost or stolen Gift Cards. Please contact The Good Guys immediately if your Gift Card has been lost or stolen. Lost or stolen Gift Cards will be replaced by The Good Guys if satisfactory proof of purchase is provided and the Gift Card has not been redeemed. Where satisfactory proof of purchase is not provided or the Gift Card has been redeemed, replacement by The Good Guys is entirely at The Good Guys discretion.
15. Gift Cards and Third Party The Good Guys Gift Cards cannot be used to purchase another The Good Guys branded Gift Card or another third party gift card e.g. Xbox Gift Cards, Sony Playstation Gift Cards.
16. Gift Cards cannot be refunded or returned, unless otherwise required by law (including the Australian Consumer Law).
