I have had my old LG front loader for 14 years and it gave up eventually. So I decided to replace it with another LG and this time is a 10kg Series 3 AI front loader. Very happy with the water and electricity consumption, quietness. And with a growing family a 10kg does the job with ease. Happy with my purchase.

Quite a step up....
I'm a big fan of LG products and the majority of our household appliances are LG. After a top loader for many years, moving to a front loader was confusing at first because of the many digital features. But once you get your head around it, it's FANTASTIC...... I like the extra downloadable extra cycles...

So far so good
After owning the product for a month it has performed well. Coming from a 7kg top loader this machine does not really hold any more washing than the 7kg machine so there seems to be a mismatch in specifications between top loader and front loader machines. I have found that with its AI technology some washes take a long time to complete (2+ hours) - still trying to work out what is causing it to take so long for some washes. Does a good job washing and I like having the app on my phone to monitor progress and let me know when wash is complete.

Latest tech but lags traditional features
Good product comes with long warranty however being AI / new tech it lags basic traditional features such as giving indication of cycle time before U start or depending on load the time variation. U can only use the cloud based cycles once U download and cannot b remotely started everytime. Big size comes in same size hence can fit regular laundry slots.

Very time efficient
Good machine. I like the Delay End function. Also has Spin Only and can add things after wash has started. Best feature is that it is so much quicker than our previous 12 year old front loader! We have gone from 2h:50m to about 1h15m for a full load. Only minor downside - we have gone from 8kg to 10kg size but drum feels smaller! Still seem to fit the same size load in but def doesn't feel 25% bigger like I expected.
