Very disappointing - not a patch on the older LG it replaced
I loved the natural picture of the LG43UN7300PTC we purchased in 2020, so when that failed beyond redemption another LG seemed a logical choice. Unfortunately there is little about the 43QNED80BSA (apart from the modest price) that I like. Our understanding is that the AI processing is constantly trying to 'improve' the imagine, but it does a terrible job of that. Skin tones rarely look natural, and I'm constantly being distracted by a picture that looks too bright in one scene, too washed out in the next, then too vivid, briefly looks okay, then is too warm, etc. Our consolation is that Good Guys (shoutout to Miquela in Geelong) have been helpful in facilitating an exchange for a (much dearer) TV that I will hopefully be happier with.

If you want premium Mini LED visuals without paying full OLED prices, the 2026 LG 43" QNED80B is fantastic. The colors are rich, the contrast is sharp, and the size is ideal for bedrooms or offices. If you're local to SA, definitely visit The Good Guys Gepps Cross. Ask for Noah B—he provided top-notch service and worked out a fantastic price drop from the standard $742 AUD down to just $695 AUD. Easily 5/5 stars for both the TV and the buying experience!
