Boils fast, not loud and a nice alert when the water is finished. The temperature rages are also convenient for coffee and tea. The jug can pour very slowly which is also good for my coffee making styles. Only downside is the jug gets extremely hot. It's full stainless steel, but it's not vacuum sealed. Only hold the handle when boiled. The handle is strong because it's joined at the top and bottom.

Love the new matte finish, however doesn't match the rest of my Kitchenaid products. It's a bit quieter than the old one so far happy with it. It has a cute bing when it is done, like the trains makes when arriving at the station ha ha.

Awesome kettle
Awesome variable temperature kettle. The temperature is quite accurate and it’s awesome that it ranges from 50-100C. Only feature that missing is the keep warm function, but that’s not a deal breaker. Managed to pick it up while on sale with a further 15% off for that weekend. The staff at the Moorabbin store were extremely helpful as well!
