Perfect dryer!
Fisher and Paykel appliances have given us good service over the years. I did the research and decided on a heat pump dryer in preparation for winter washing requirements. The Good Guys Joondalup gave us a great deal, very happy. The dryer can be literally taken out the package and used as is, but in order for this machine to give optimum efficiency it does require plumbing into a cold water supply and the water catch tank disconnected and machine drained into the waste pipe of your laundry sink. All water inlet hoses and drain hose are supplied with the machine. Tee the inlet pipes into your washing machine using the elbow and pipes supplied, disconnect the black hose at the lower end at the rear of the machine that pumps water into the catch tank and fit the drain hose supplied and run that into the dedicated drain port on the sink waste pipe. Job done. The steam refresh function can now operate and any water from the evaporation process drains straight into the waste. No emptying of the water catch tank! This dryer is perfect for our needs, is cost efficient to run, no ventilation required! Steam refresh works well ( on two modes only) and connects to wifi thus giving control via the Smart HQ app. It’s quiet and also has a rack feature for drying shoes etc. Very pleased.
