This unit cools my medium sized bedroom. The window fitting is thin so it doesn't cover up a lot of window viewing space. But was too short for my window. Is flimsy after many attempts of it falling out I had to reinforce it with thick cardboard and foam pieces. I got glue gunned it into the area and then covered it with wall paper. I also needed to glue around the hose connection area. I also had to buy some window seal tape and align it onto my window for the gaps. The hose pipe becomes warm to touch , ended up buying a hose blanket from Temu I think at over $900 I paid to much. But it is doing the job and have had peaceful sleep and that is what it is all about. So it works. Not overly noisy as it is right next to my bed.
