Convenient
I have been using this for a few weeks now and so far so good. Easy dials to understand and use and I like that it has 4 different cooking options. Certainly a lot quicker than my gas cooktop and have been impressed with the results.

Disappointing
The first one I ordered blew my powerpoint fuse after only 10 days of use and then refused to work. The second unit I bought before I returned the first as I needed it for the holidays but it died in the exact same way after only 5 days. I was not prepared to try a third time but thankfully I was fully refunded for both faulty items. It was however really disappointing and inconvenient. It's a nice cooktop and I enjoyed using it but clearly there is an issue with this item. I wouldn't recommend anyone buy it unless the issue is sorted.

Good design and features
I was very happy with my purchase while the unit was working. The first one lasted about 6 weeks and then it made an unusual noise tripping the circuit breaker and it was dead. Had it replaced by the Good Guys and the same event happened about 5 weeks later. I chose the unit as the dial control is much easier to adjust than touch buttons for altering temperature and power- as all these portable units are not precise with temperature. I still have a Nuwave working after 15 years, however its power is now reduced a little. Maybe Durapres can find out why these units are failing as a lot of thought has gone into design.

Quality Product, super easy to use
Pros: Does what it is supposed to do, easy to manage level of heat, good quality, light weight, very fast heating. Cons: Hardly any but if i have to then the chord could be a bit longer and the indicating light could be a bit sharper so its easy to see if you are in a bright area.

Great induction cooktop.
This is my second portable induction cooktop. The Durapres is by far the best. Very good temperature control and the temperature probe is very handy. We use it in our kitchen, outdoor kitchen and caravan.

Good second cooking unit with useful features. Need to read the manual however to understand hoe to use it to its best. Much better than the Westinghouse one I tried. And not much more expensive with better features including the good thermometer.
