FAQs
I’ve been told that new rangehoods need to be ducted to the atmosphere, will the installer do this if required?
Ducting works are not included in the standard service, if required the installer will quote on the required works and materials, additional charges will apply.
I’m not sure if the new rangehood will fit in the existing cavity, will the installer alter or trim my cabinetry if required?
Cabinet works are not included in the standard service, you’ll need to ensure the new rangehood fits into the existing cavity, if this requires cabinet work, you will need to have the cabinet works completed prior to the rangehood being installed.
I'm not sure of the clearance from my cooktop to my rangehood, does this matter?
Clearance from a cooktop to a rangehood is normally set at 650mm but can vary depending on manufacturer specifications, it would be best to refer to the manufacturer specifications of your new rangehood.
Will the installer show me how the rangehood works?
The standard service includes a demonstration of the basic functions.
Is the rangehood installation covered by any warranty?
The installation works are covered with a 12 month warranty.
How long will it take for the rangehood to be installed?
Homes and requirements for each installation are different, your installer will be able to advise you on the day.
