The Ring Battery Video Doorbell (Venetian Bronze) has been a fantastic addition to my smart home setup. Installation was quick and straightforward, and the design looks great on the front door. I paired it with the Ring Chime Pro, which not only extends the Wi-Fi signal for better reception but also acts as a reliable alert system throughout the house. I’ve configured the Chime Pro to host its own Wi-Fi network specifically for the doorbell, and the connection has been flawless. One of the standout features is its integration with Samsung SmartThings—I can view the live feed directly from my Samsung TV, which is incredibly convenient. While it’s not currently possible to view the feed through Google Home, that’s not a dealbreaker. Ring is owned by Amazon, and it works perfectly with Alexa-enabled devices. Although I don’t personally use an Echo Show, it’s worth noting that Ring doorbells can stream video directly to those devices, which is a great option for Alexa users. The Ring mobile app is another highlight. It’s packed with features—motion zone customization, real-time alerts, device health monitoring, and more—all wrapped in a clean, intuitive interface that’s easy to navigate. Whether you're tech-savvy or just getting started, the app makes managing your Ring devices a breeze. The video quality is sharp, motion alerts are reliable, and the overall experience is smooth and satisfying. If you're building a smart home—especially with Samsung or Amazon products—this doorbell is a top-tier choice. Highly recommended!
